We had some free days in January so I booked a quick trip to the Dominican Republic. Since we joined the Unlimited Vacation Club last year this was the first time we tried out the service. Different services are available through the club, but for this week we just exchanged one of our "free" weeks.
We stayed at the Secrets Royal Beach in Punta Cana. It's an all inclusive resort with,several restaurants, entertainment, 6 pools, beachside service, including the spa.
The week was spent just chilling out except for one day trip to Santa Domingo to visit the old colonial city and check out the Christopher Columbus Memorial.

Our last night we had grilled lobster, all you could eat, served on the beach. I definitely got my moneys worth!
